The Fishpond was installed in 1967 on the on the lawned area behind the Campion Jordan Building. It is fondly remembered by students as a place to relax with friends, meditate or as a backdrop for group photos. Over the years, many students came a little too close and found themselves swimming with the goldfish and in 1999, the pond was fenced.
In 2009, the Chancery Lane Montessori Centre was built on the site and the fishpond was filled in. The goldfish, however, lived on as they were given a new home with Sr Margaret Adams.
