Sr Anne Gregory’s career has centred on assisting women suffering from the effects of isolation, poverty, violence and alcoholism. She was instrumental in establishing Catherine House, a shelter for homeless women.

Sister Janet Mead was an educator with an immense musical talent. Her retirement from teaching saw her become the driving force behind the Adelaide Day Centre, supporting Adelaide’s poor and homeless.

Sr Kathleen Preece was a teacher, Year 12 Coordinator and Deputy Principal at St Aloysius College. She was a remarkable teacher who imparted a love of learning and a love of life to everyone she encountered.

Sr Cynthia Griffin has been a teacher in Mercy schools in Adelaide and Mt Gambier and was involved in teacher education in both Papua New Guinea and Pakistan. She returned to SAC as a volunteer tutor assisting refugee students.

Sister Janet Lowe

Sr Janet Lowe has been an educator in Catholic schools in Adelaide and Mt Gambier and spent many years teaching in Aboriginal communities. She returned to SAC to support the school’s Aboriginal and refugee students.

St Pat Feehan

Sr Patricia Feehan

Sr Patricia Feehan has been a teacher, school leader and education consultant  holding key roles, not only for the Sisters of Mercy, but also within the SA Education Department and Adelaide Archdiocese.

Sister Josie Weatherald

Sr Josie Weatherald was a teacher before moving to care for young children at Goodwood Orphanage and in a Cottage Home. Countless people have benefited and been blessed by her life’s work and generosity of spirit.
