The Paschal Candle Stand was commissioned to celebrate 140 Years of St Aloysius College. It was designed and created by Chris Mullins, a silversmith who lives in Wagga Wagga and brother of Fr Paull Mullins. Chris grew up in Adelaide.
The stand is made of brushed stainless steel and silver. There are three images inscribed in three roundels on the stand:
- St Aloysius College Fleur de Lis crest
- Mercy Cross
- ‘Celebrating 140 years of Mercy Education in Adelaide in 2020’
This inscription is inscribed around the circumference of the disc with ‘1880’ in the centre.
