Emma Rebellato

Emma Rebellato attended St Aloysius College from 1991-1995. As a student she was a member of the Rock Band, the Law Society of South Australia Mock Trial Competition, a member of the Student Representative Council and represented the school at the Archdiocese Catholic Youth Conference.

After graduating from SAC, Emma enrolled in a Bachelor of Arts (Journalism) at the University of South Australia, volunteering at Radio 5 RPH while studying journalism.

Her first job was in the Riverland reporting for commercial radio stations Magic FM and 5RM. She returned to Adelaide to work for FiveAA and then as a breakfast newsreader at Nova 919, while freelancing for Channel 7 and Network 10. In 2008, Emma joined the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) in Adelaide and has worked in a number of newsroom roles including the nightly news presenter.

In 2022, Emma moved to Melbourne where she is a Journalist/Presenter for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) and a Presenter/Producer for the ABC News for Qantas.
