This whole school community fundraiser began in 1999. Secondary students walk 10 kms along the River Torrens Linear Park and the Primary students walk to Victoria Park, with everyone returning to school for a sausage sizzle. Many parents and caregivers volunteer to assist with cooking, serving or walking with the students on the day.
Students raise money through sponsorship for the walk, with their donations supporting our Mercy Works projects including, Catherine House, the Adelaide Day Centre and the Vinnies Women’s Crisis Centre, who provide support and safety for women and men in our community.
